The SmartSnugg sleeping assistant gives you expert advice about how to dress your child to keep them within a comfortable temperature range. Based on our extensive testing of our monitoring system, we know that over 80% of babies sleep comfortably between 30˚ and 34˚ (temperature inside their SmartSleeper).
Within the SmartSnugg App we have a dynamic clothing assistant that will recommend combinations to achieve your desired temperature, no matter what the room temperature is. At the moment this is only available to customers using the SmartSnugg monitoring system but we plan to release a non-tech version soon.
The charts below give a guide to how we might recommend dressing your child under different conditions to achieve an internal SmartSleeper temperature of 30˚, 32˚ or 34˚. Our dynamic system can give you other options and we have provided information about the thermal properties of each layer that we use in our calculations so that you can adapt these to suit the clothing options that you have available.
